Sony San Diego's focus on Diamond Dynasty this week in the run-up to MLB The Show 26's release later in March came with a new ratings reveal for the top 100 Live Series players in DD as of launch. You'll be shocked by who tops the list — if you live under a rock.
Ohtani, Judge Lead Top 100 Live Series Players in MLB The Show 26
To absolutely no one's surprise, the reigning American and National League Most Valuable Players are the top two players in the Live Series in Diamond Dynasty in MLB The Show 26, with both Judge and Ohtani clocking in at 92 OVR. But that number might be a slight eyebrow-raiser, as it's only one point of overall rating clear of the next tier — consisting of Tarik Skubal, Bobby Witt Jr., and Jose Ramírez — and not particularly far removed from a top 15 that begins at 89 OVR.
Here's the full list, as revealed on an SDS live stream, including all the secondary ratings revealed during the stream.

Notable Names Outside Top 100 Players
Of course, some of the 30 MLB teams are bad coming into the 2026 season — and four of them are without a player among the top 100 Live Series players in Diamond Dynasty to begin the MLB The Show 26 cycle. Generously, Sony San Diego threw those teams — the Cardinals, Marlins, Rockies, and White Sox, if you're scoring at home — a bone with some ratings for their players who are outside the top 100.
- Marlins SP Eury Pérez - 78 OVR
- Marlins 2B Otto López - 78 OVR
- Marlins RP Ronny Henriquez - 78 OVR
- Rockies C Hunter Goodman - 80 OVR
- Cardinals C Ivan Herrera - 80 OVR (90 Batting Clutch, 87 Contact vs. LHP)
- Cardinals RP Matt Svanson - 80 OVR
- White Sox SS Colson Montgomery - 77 OVR (91 Fielding, 90 Power vs. RHP)
Also mentioned during the stream: Red Sox superprospect Roman Anthony checks in at a 79 OVR.
